I knew when I was in Orlando I could help Haiti.  I wanted to fly down there but thought what would be the most productive? I will head to Haiti in the future and personally volunteer. Today, my focus is networking, marketing, and writing to help the people of Haiti. Please see the video below because  Rita described an event that touched my heart.

Secondly, I send my energy to attract business professionals. Yesterday I met Fleumingue Jean-Mary. He is Rita’s Kreyol Language Instructor. Mr. Jean-Mary was born in Haiti. He is an amazing professional and joining our Haiti Campaign. I interviewed him yesterday and wanted to share with you his thoughts regarding Haiti. Every Saturday morning he volunteers to teach the Kreyol language and helping Rita  to prepare for her mission trip in Haiti.

Mr. Jean-Mary earned his PhD in Chemistry and employed with Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati. He is a professional compelled to give back to Haiti.  He wanted to give back to his home country.  When I was interviewing him, I personally saw the same energy in his eyes. The same energy I felt when I interviewed Mr. X.  I want to convey something very important to my readers.  Everyone involved in OUR campaign wants to help the sons and daughters of Haiti.

Mr. Jean-Mary was born near the city of Gonaive, and remembers leaving Haiti when he was 12 years old. He lived in the Artibonite Valley. In 1986, Haiti was going through political turmoil and Mr. Jean-Mary moved to Brooklyn, New York with his family. He hasn’t returned to Haiti, but will be heading back to his home country in the next few months.  Rita is so thankful for learning Kreyol and Mr. Jean Mary.

When Rita is in Haiti changing lives, ElizabethCobb.com will post emails, tweets, and keep you informed about the events. Rita will make a personal video diary and we will share this when she returns from the mission trip. In Orlando, my heart was crying for the people of Haiti. My heart is still crying, but now I have amazing people joining our campaign. Thank you everyone!!

ElizabethCobb.com,  sat patiently, at Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota. I was so honored to witness, with my own eyes, Mount Rushmore.   I made a promise to each President, during the lighting of the mountain, to  lead my mission to empower “the lonely entrepreneur.” The National Park Services described each President, and how they rose to become magnificent men in American History.

“The purpose of the memorial is to communicate the founding, expansion, preservation, and unification of the United States with colossal statues of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt.” Gutzon Borglum

I looked up at Mount Rushmore and smiled  with great intent to implement my plan. 30 days later, TeachingEmpowerment.com was masterminded with Angela Giles and Elizabeth Cobb in San Diego, CA.

Long before, my Mount Rushmore Experience, I saw a movie that influenced my life.  When I was young, growing up in Owosso, Michigan, my friends and I would go to the movies. The student discount was $5 and the movies opened my eyes to the world. I loved to dream and be creative. Now as I look back, I was preparing to write my script.  I wanted to write a script that empowered people, the same way, I was empowered to dream when I was growing up. As I write this blog,  I am watching one of my favorite movies, “Under the Tuscan Sun.” It was based on Frances Mayes’ memoir in 1996. Diane Lane instantly became one of my favorite actresses after she starred in “Under the Tuscan Sun.” I recommend the movie. My summary of the movie: “life presents obstacles but  with love, passion, strength, and relationships, we overcome any obstacle.”

I am making a new promise tonight and it will be completed in Italy. I will complete one of my movie scripts in my villa.  I haven’t found the villa but she is waiting patiently for me.  There are so many options and opportunities, so the Italian Villa could be near Venice, Rome, Tuscany, or…..Milano?  Most importantly, my Italian Villa needs renovation. You must watch “Under the Tuscan Sun” to completely understand.   I know my villa is waiting for me patiently, but I have a lot of work to do to find her!!  Have a wonderful week!

1. Saturday afternoon Elizabeth met: Jason Humphries; Portable Electronics Consultant/Hiring and Training Coordinator of Best Buy. Jason was phenomenal. He helped set up the video camera, and went one step further. He shared his passion to make his customers feel appreciative at Best Buy. I congratulated the Store Manager because Jason is amazing.

2. Saturday evening Elizabeth is welcomed graciously to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Marva Rasmussen. Gary is a agent with Farmers Insurance in Mason, OH. Marva is the Director of the Youth Orchestra of Northern Cincinnati. Gary helped tremendously with producing the video, lighting, and research. Marva was the beautiful violinist in the background. Marva is very talented and I appreciate her insight greatly.

3. Monday evening Elizabeth contacted Benjamin Johnson. He is an entrepreneur and part owner of Johnson Unlimited in Mason, OH. Benjamin is in high school and  will do amazing things in his life to help the world. Benjamin was so determined to help upload the file. We ran into problems with compressing the file. He called everyone in his network, and simultaneously I contacted my “peeps,” but after 2.5 hours we were still in distress.

4. Elizabeth Cobb drives to West Chester, OH, Tuesday morning for a Rainmakers Networking Event at the Soup Du Jour. This is HUGE! The power of helping others, and accomplishing the DEADLINE for Cheer.Com was completed at this location……..

5. Christopher Johnson introduced Elizabeth Cobb to Kevin Frye, Chairman of the Board for Rainmakers. Kevin started working on my computer around 9:30 AM. My laptop had MAJOR issues. Long story short, three laptops, two cokes, five cell phones, contacting  Amy numerous times , Mike Weaver, Eric Jeffords, and many more people at the Rainmakers Function…… WE ACCOMPLISHED THE GOAL.

6. I looked at the clock on my Blackberry @ 11:36 AM EST. Kevin Frye showed the screen on the third laptop,  THE video was uploaded!!!! YES!!!! DEADLINE MET and I could breathe again……

7. If you have passion, desire, and determination all goals are achievable. Also, THANK YOU for everyone involved because you are amazing individuals.

8. One last thought, I was so determined to accomplish this deadline. I would of drove straight to Procter and Gamble Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH and personally delivered my camera to their Cheer.Com department. I’m very thankful for everyone and their amazing help!

When I was a Rotary Exchange Student in Sweden, I had the opportunity and honor to travel around Europe for three weeks. This experience was life changing, I traveled Europe, and experienced it with 15+ Exchange Students from Around the world. As a little girl, I would watch the Olympics and dream about visiting all the venues. Innsbruck, Austria   proved to Elizabeth Cobb that dreams do come true with action.

It was July, 1997, and we stopped in Innsbruck, Austria. The Winter Olympics, Innsbruck, 1976. I was so impressed by Innsbruck because of the Olympics and the branding of the City. “The City with The Golden Roof.”

I have always wanted to participate in the Olympic Games. When I was in Track in High School, I dreamed about being in the Olympic Summer Games. Well, as time progressed my Olympic Dreams became a reality in marketing/writing and  focusing on my strengths.

My point with all this……When I was dreaming about being in the Olympics, as a little girl, and envisioning the venues, I was masterminding…. The only way, I was able to visit those Olympic sites, was implementing my action plan. The same thing applies with you and your business.

Dreams do come true. We can dream….dream….dream..dream.. and mastermind. The KEY is implementing and making an action plan. My passion and desire to write a movie script is possible. If you have a dream, start implementing today and create your action plan.

My name is Elizabeth Cobb. This evening in Cincinnati, Ohio, I was at a networking event with entrepreneurs, and a person shared with me  something very important in my life. They stated you are seeking a candidate to become White House Chief for Social Media. I am writing you this evening because Social Media has changed my life.

July 2008, I was let go from my teaching position in Owenton, KY. At the time, I thought that day was the hardest day in my life. As I look back, that day was the greatest day of my life because I focused on my passion to become an entrepreneur.  I lost my father in September 2008, and made a promise to him. He passed away too young, and I realized I was 28 and he was 58. I implemented immediately, I only had 30 years to carry on his light, and help as many people as possible on this Earth.

January 2009, I used http://www.twitter.com/yslanrulz as my platform to networking internationally. The difference on how I used Twitter is to network and build strategic business relationships throughout the world. I am married, responsible for a mortgage, and raise three dogs. January, 2009, I went back to work third shift at DHL in Hebron, KY and launched http://www.elizabethcobb.com. Twitter was my platform to network and build relationships. Remember, in my heart, I had a major deadline.

July 2009. I received a bonus ticket to attend Eben Pagan’s Guru Mastermind Bootcamp in Los Angeles, CA. In addition, I wanted to meet a Social Media Guru, Angela Giles in San Diego, CA. I flew to Los Angeles @ 6 am Friday morning, and returned back to Cincinnati on the Red Eye  to Cincinnati, OH. I knew in my heart this would be a life changing event. During this weekend I met Angela Giles LIVE and Marlene Green, Publisher of Millionaire Blueprints, Media, LLC from NYC.

Angela and I Masterminded TeachingEmpowerment.com, and I planted the seed to build a relationship with Marlene Green. I returned to Cincinnati, OH and continued my journey.

September 2009, I met an entrepreneur on Twitter from West Palm Beach, FL. He has changed my life and was the first person to compliment me in regards to my writing. His name is Adrian Rivodeaux and CEO of Rivodeaux Marketing. Our business relationship proved my hypothesis in regards to the power of Social Media. I knew in my heart I could build relationship both online and offline during this Global Economic Recession. Jobs are available, the most important key to be successful, and start a business from scratch, was the strategy to take my expertise and brand myself online via Social Media.

October 2009, I drove to Philadelphia, PA because of the opportunity to meet TOP MARKETING GURUS, and build my relationship with Marlene Green of Millionaire Blueprints, Media. Relationships were made in Philadelphia that have changed my life both personally and business.

November 2009, I drove to Atlanta, GA to network with TOP MARKETING GURUS @ Glazier Kennedy Insider’s Circle, Info Summit. I was offered the Position as Project Manager with Millionaire Blueprints Magazine, and to star preparing for the re-launch of the Magazine in 2010.

In addition, I was working directly with Mr. Rivodeaux, and being personally mentored from an International Marketing Executive.

December  2009, I joined Tri-State Business Network in Cincinnati, OH. I met amazing entrepreneurs, and created relationships with individuals in Cincinnati, OH/Northern Kentucky. My solution and results prove why Social Media is the GOLD Medal for Entrepreneurs in the Olympic Games of Entrepreneurship.

February 2010

1. Accepted Position as Director of Social Media with Rivodeaux Marketing, West Palm Beach, FL (I am mobile and based anywhere on the planet)

2. Accepted Position as Project Manager with Millionaire Blueprints Media, LLC.

3. Accepted Leadership Position with Tri-State Business Network in Cincinnati, OH

4. Launched and Co-Founder of TeachingEmpowerment.com February 16, 2010

5.  I would  love to personally be Chief of Social Media for the White House. My passion is so great, I would happily perform the duties whether it was a paid position or not. I want to share with the world that any dream is possible. It doesn’t matter WHO you are. It depends on implementing an action plan.

Concidently, I was EARLY. But most importantly, I was here for a reason to introduce you to the Key note Speaker…..

Her name is Deb Wells. She is a Christian Speaker as well as Worship Leader @ Life Church in West Chester, Oh.

She grabbed my attention instantly. Her opening statement:

“Most of us can think of a place from our childhood that we were drawn to, such as a hiding place where secrets could be shared, or where we could go to be alone. That place for me was a very special tree in my back yard. It was very old and unusually large apple tree.”

Now, how does this correlate with seasons? Deb Wells, The Key Note Speaker, correlated “her life has had seasons much like that apple tree!” The season of winter in Cincinnati, is placing people into situations the same way Ms. Wells was placed into a situation in Los Angeles, CA…. I have a story to share with you….

Imagine Easter Sunday 1977…..

Deb was living as a nanny in a beautiful house in Manhatten Beach, CA. It was 9 AM. Deb was at the lowest point in her life. She had feelings of being so overwhelmed, she felt she couldn’t go on any longer. In result, she decided to take her life by an overdose. On her way to the bathroom to take the overdose, a sudden thought pierced her mind!

“GO TO CHURCH”

She froze in her tracks, first she had to stop and think where is the church? Then, she remembered a small community church on Pacific Coast Highway, a few miles away. She threw on a sun dress and began the long walk. She entered the church, the service was in progress, so she sat in the back. Within minutes, the service had ended, and as people were filing in line to leave, one man reached out and shook her hand and said hello, “Glad to have you here!” Next thing she found herself alone, standing on the sidewalk ALONE, and feeling that God had rejected her. She began sobbing and her nose started running. She needed a tissue very quickly!

Deb noticed an apartment building across the street. The apartment building was a 2 sotry building with a corridor leading to a pool area that seemed, “Not Very Nice, a little in disrepair.”

There wasn’t a soul around. Suddenly, Deb stood there and couldn’t think or move. It was if she was in a trance. This lasted several minutes, an elderly woman came walking up the hallway towards Deb. She stood infront of her, and Deb asked her if she had a tissue? The elderly woman looked DEB WELLS  in the eyes and said….”I knew you were coming.”

“She said God gave me a vision last night…..He showed me you were coming, and God said to take you in, feed you, and listen to your troubles.”

This story is amazing and Elizabeth Cobb will continue to share Deb Well’s story about “What are the Seasons of HER life?”
