My journey brought me to Denver, Colorado where I’ve met some amazing people, artists, and entrepreneurs. A major networking arena that I found in Denver is the Light rail. During my first few weeks, I met two people that joined forces to follow their dreams as a professional artist and actress. They have become the best of friends and working together to follow their passions in the entertainment/art niche. The key is the support they give one another.

I would like to introduce Tom Stimson. Tom has an amazing history including studying art in Europe, working as a professional artist for the past forty years, guiding international trekking in Switzerland and Tajikistan, and making a documentary film about the shamanism of the Koryak people of Kamchatka. I will share his story in detail next week. The minute I met Tom, I realized he would enlighten me and enrich my life to the painting world. During the 70′s Tom wandered Europe, central Asia, India and Nepal in pursit of his dreams. He lived with a family in Nepal for half a year before moving to Switzerland for a 5 year apprenticeship with a reknowned Swiss artist named Emil Schmid. Tom has become the greatest supporter for Actress Vivian Lie. Today’s blog will focus on her dream.

Vivian was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At a very young age she became fascinated with acting. What I love about Vivian is her passion to follow her heart. She started to study acting in the evenings and on weekends at the age of 13. Nothing would stop her. Vivian knew she needed to come to America to continue her dream, auditioning and networking in California, Colorado and New Mexico. Currently Vivian is working on a number of film projects in Denver. In her current project, Every November, Vivian is the lead actress for a feature film that is a drama/mystery thriller that is in the final production stage and will soon be screened in Denver. The independent filmmaker is Elgin Cahill who is presently searching for a buyer for the film.

Time Management is the word of the day! We all have insane schedules, meetings to attend, family obligations, and find time to sleep! Did I forget to mention grocery shopping? Networking Tip: it is encouraged to meet people for a 1:1 appointment, and build relationships face to face. Steve taught me an excellent lesson about implementation, 2 days prior to an event I organized in Cincinnati. Steve helped by inviting Jim Breech to my event as a celebrity guest to raise money for our charity with Rupert’s Kids and Rita Kuntz. Steve met me on a Thursday, before the event, and said, “Sure, Elizabeth, I will call you later this afternoon with confirmation.” I was amazed because I am the queen of implementation, and I met Jim Breech in person on June 1. Steve has hired me to be his Social Media Diva and we are going to be working special projects this upcoming year raising money for a variety of charities around Cincinnati!

Steve is a True Italian Networker. If you need something, he knows a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy…………….. Most importantly, Steve has an amazing heart for people! This past Sunday, he was the host of a Poker Run, and Concert in Memory of Sydney Monet…. The proceeds were benefiting Artworks in Camp Livingston.

My marketing career began in the network marketing industry. I was determined to be a successful network marketing, and attracted business with Social Media. In result, currently, I personally write copy and work directly with leaders of the network marketing industry. In addition, I work for an International Marketing Firm! Today, I interviewed Dean Manheimer! He is the North American Leader of Dubli.com, and our stories share a common bond. We introduced traditional business practices into our network marketing business. Lastly, our desire to find success would not allow failure as an option!

Dean Manheimer graduated from Arizona State University, and began his business career as a Retail Chain General Merchandise Manager. He was responsible for a 85 Million dollar Division. He worked in traditional business, and ran the consolidation/operational side of the division. During the next 15 years he experienced the life of traditional business…… Something was missing in his career? Dean wanted full control of his life and became an entrepreneur………………………………..

Dean purchased a few companies, built strategic partnerships, owned restaurants, finished contractor in constructions niche, introduced to city government, used his capital at risk, liability exposure!! Lastly, was introduced to network marketing! I really enjoy Dean’s perception of network marketing. Network marketing is a different distribution channel for various products and services ultimately transferred to the end user.

Dean failed during the first two years when he started his network marketing business. FAILURE was not an OPTION! He had the tenacity and stamina to continue. Elizabeth Cobb had the same determination! Dean said: “One day I woke up! Maybe I’m not as smart as I thought?” He started to listen to people in the industry, and included in his overall business plan the discipline he learned from the traditional business world. The third year he made 6 figures, and Dean said: we’ve been blessed with seven figures! Taking on the challenge is the best part of the game in life!

My final question to Dean: What advice do you offer “newbie” network marketers?

“If you want to be successful you must understand, YOU need to be a servant to other people! We teach, if the product does right, is applicable in peoples everyday lives, you will be successful! If I’m a servant. I serve them to make sure I do everything to help them be successful… If I go at my business with only personal gain at mind, I won’t be successful in the long term. The KEY is serving others and providing them with a quality PRODUCT! Dean is a leader in North America with Dubli. If you don’t offer value to the consumer, they don’t need you! You have the opportunity to make incredible income by bringing value to millions of consumers and their families!!!!

In life we have crossroads and choices to make. Doors close and windows open, but most importantly, when your heart yearns for something more…… The people that run with their dreams and have faith are the Rainmakers of the world. I was feeling suffrocated in the classroom as a Special Education Teacher in Owenton, KY. I loved my students, and they taught me lessons that I will carry on throughout my life. I put my heart and soul into teaching. I was feeling a need to help millions of children. I knew this could be accomplished by becoming an entrepreneur. In addition, the same day I was first introduced to Dani Johnson in the Appalachian Mountains, I received a pink slip! WOW…. What a sign to choose the path of entrepreneurship?

April 2008: Spring Break! My friend drove down from Michigan, and we decided to take a road trip to Charlotte, NC. My brother just recently moved to Charlotte, and I was excited to visit my FAVORITE sibling! He is the greatest brother on the planet, and the two of us stick together. (He is my only sibling!) I had the entrepreneur bug and wanted to start my own marketing firm. On Spring Break, my friend and I masterminded our plan as entrepreneurs. The road trip was amazing, and I realized that for the rest of my life ElizabethCobb.com wanted to wander the planet, help as many people as possible, and be a professional blogger/Marketing Specialist. I love the song by Carrie Underwood. It describes my journey of faith!

At the time, I didn’t even realize how amazing my journey would entail, but I was ready. I remember driving on I-40 heading West to Knoxville, and my friend sharing a story about an amazing entrepreneur. The entrepreneur was Dani Johnson. I came into contact with Dani Johnson for the first time in the Appalachian Mountains!

I became very intrigued in the conversation and listened to my friend describe Dani’s biography. My friend shared Dani’s path of being so determined to accomplish her goals. Dani COLD called in Hawaii and started her business with pennies! I envisioned the same path for myself, and immediately started researching Dani. If Dani could accomplish this amazing career, Elizabeth Cobb would follow suit.

This is the TJ Couzens Story – As a young gentleman my parents went through a bitter divorce and my single mother had to earn a living by herself. We lived in Michigan and she provided for us. We grew up very poor, and learned business acumen from various individuals. Those individuals became my mentors in life, and led me to become an entrepreneur. I worked at a cheese factory in Grand Rapids, Michigan for next to nothing, at the age of 17. Dear Dad: Dedicated to Jack C. Bunting

This morning I attended a church meeting at Fairfield High School. During the meeting a General Authority from SLC spoke, and his testimony was amazing. In addition, he asked if anyone had questions. I instantly raised my hand in the bleachers! I remember a long time ago, when I was very little, sharing with my father, I wanted to be a journalist and writer. My dream is reality because of my blog and marketing career.

In September 2008, I made a vow with my father before he passed. I was in shock that I was losing my father at age 28 and he being 58. I made a vow to him that I would follow my passions and dreams in life. I promised him I only had thirty years to accomplish my goals, and I would not stop. I do recall a couple months after my father’s funeral driving north on I-75 towards Erlanger, KY, I prayed to Heavenly Father to take me home to my father. I was very sad and depressed. I even requested to take my pain away and as I look back, I’m so thankful that he didn’t answer my prayer. I continued to move forward and strategized how I would accomplish my vow to my father. This afternoon, I wanted to share with my Dad my blessings. I know he is in my heart at all times but most importantly, I know that someday I will be reunited with him in heaven.

1. I am blessed to be baptized in my church in Liberty Township.
2. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work for an International Marketing Firm.
3. I am blessed to speak with many leaders around the world in various industries and niches.
4. I am blessed for my family, and all the amazing individuals in my life throughout the world.
5. I am blessed to have an amazing marketing genius as my business partner. Together we are launching a major campaign that will impact millions of lives.
6. I am blessed for my experiences and background in education to continue my passion to teach marketing to many entrepreneurs and business owners.
7. Lastly, this morning I met a woman at Speedway in Florence, KY. She stated to me Friday she was very afraid to die. I gave her my cell phone number and said please call me. Every day I am alive, I want to help as many people, and blessed for all the people that have helped me. I will continue my campaign!

This past week I attended a Rainmakers event in Indianapolis. I was introduced to Denise Taylor. Denise is an Inspirational Author and International Speaker. “Heavenly Birth” was her story, and honest account of her daughter’s journey with Leukemia. Denise blogged daily the lessons she and her daughter learned after her daughter was diagnosed with leukemia.

Today, I was posed the question, “What is it that keeps you motivated?” My reply was: What motivates me (and I anticipate it always will) is Jonnae. She’s stayed motivated, when many would have quit. When she heard When she had the worst case of mucositis the doctors have ever seen, when she had shingles, when her hair fell out for the fourth time, when she thought she was leukemia free and she relapsed, when she was on the brink of renal failure, she drew on her faith and tenacious spirit. She kicked butt and took names. We’ve developed strong “I will not quit” muscles. Not only do I want to continue to build that muscle, I live to inspire others do the same.

“I waver from believing she’ll be a miracle to believing I’m being prepared to let her go.”

Denise will be in Cincinnati at our event on June 1 at the West Chester Conference Center. She taught me an excellent lesson this week to believe and inspire people to stay motivated during all trials and tribulations in life. I will be completing a series in the summer describing more in detail Denise Taylor and her experiences with “Heavenly Birth.”
