My marketing career began in the network marketing industry. I was determined to be a successful network marketing, and attracted business with Social Media. In result, currently, I personally write copy and work directly with leaders of the network marketing industry. In addition, I work for an International Marketing Firm! Today, I interviewed Dean Manheimer! He is the North American Leader of Dubli.com, and our stories share a common bond. We introduced traditional business practices into our network marketing business. Lastly, our desire to find success would not allow failure as an option!

Dean Manheimer graduated from Arizona State University, and began his business career as a Retail Chain General Merchandise Manager. He was responsible for a 85 Million dollar Division. He worked in traditional business, and ran the consolidation/operational side of the division. During the next 15 years he experienced the life of traditional business…… Something was missing in his career? Dean wanted full control of his life and became an entrepreneur………………………………..

Dean purchased a few companies, built strategic partnerships, owned restaurants, finished contractor in constructions niche, introduced to city government, used his capital at risk, liability exposure!! Lastly, was introduced to network marketing! I really enjoy Dean’s perception of network marketing. Network marketing is a different distribution channel for various products and services ultimately transferred to the end user.

Dean failed during the first two years when he started his network marketing business. FAILURE was not an OPTION! He had the tenacity and stamina to continue. Elizabeth Cobb had the same determination! Dean said: “One day I woke up! Maybe I’m not as smart as I thought?” He started to listen to people in the industry, and included in his overall business plan the discipline he learned from the traditional business world. The third year he made 6 figures, and Dean said: we’ve been blessed with seven figures! Taking on the challenge is the best part of the game in life!

My final question to Dean: What advice do you offer “newbie” network marketers?

“If you want to be successful you must understand, YOU need to be a servant to other people! We teach, if the product does right, is applicable in peoples everyday lives, you will be successful! If I’m a servant. I serve them to make sure I do everything to help them be successful… If I go at my business with only personal gain at mind, I won’t be successful in the long term. The KEY is serving others and providing them with a quality PRODUCT! Dean is a leader in North America with Dubli. Dubli’s Dubli’s business model is significantly different than the traditional network marketing model.

If you don’t offer value to the consumer, they don’t need you! You have the opportunity to make incredible income by bringing value to millions of consumers and their families!!!!

This morning at church an amazing woman stood up and shared her beautiful story.  This past week a snowstorm  stressed Cincinnati. I’m originally from Michigan, and I was stuck at my home for two days. The Angel, shared her story about focusing on the little things in life.  I had goosebumps because I have the same mindset and find myself focusing on everyone around me. Focus on giving!! I always make sure that when I cross paths with people, in all walks of life, I share compassion and positive energy with them!

Her story included stopping, in the middle of the snow storm, and purchasing donuts for the road crews. Most people raced home before the snow hit, and her focus was on the men and women clearing the roads for thousands of people in Cincinnati. I called her tonight and thanked her. She shared five tips for helping others! I give you kudos for changing lives in Cincinnati and being an Angel!

1. Pray for Opportunity to Help Those Around Me

2. Be aware of your surroundings and Listen

3. Send Cards to people! People need to feel your energy and love.

4. Make Eye Contact with People and Smile

5. Listen to what people are saying!

Cea’s Advice about Networking:

“I was destined to become a nun and a teacher. The teacher became a reality…..the nun didn’t.

I have spent my life, trying to “get it”…..what am I supposed to do in this life? What is it that I need to learn or share? How do I make a difference in this world?

I think I finally “got it.” My opportunity as a speaker and workshop leader have given me hundreds of times, places and incredible human beings who have helped me to put my puzzle together.

I call it “building relationships” but others may choose to use the word “networking.” I don’t think that it’s important to give it a title but instead, use the concept to become a better person who wants to be “present” emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.

I recently spoke for the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, Cincinnati Business Courier, and BNI called “Celebrating Networking.” I have to say……the people in the audience were incredible. One of the many lovely people who I met came up to me with such energy and enthusiasm…..her name, Elizabeth Cobb. She is a producer and writer and has such great enthusiasm. I continue to receive emails and notes from so many of the other attendees also.

I think that it’s time for all of us to take a moment and ask: “When I die, what is God going to ask me? I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be…..how much did you make? where did you buy your clothes? Instead, I feel that the big question will be…..”what did you do with the gifts that I gave you?”

Use your gifts, share them with others and just “be.”
